Happy birthday to Belle, my lovely grandma. Some called you Belle, but we called you Meme. Even though you live in the heavens I know your still here in some way. May is your favorite month and it’s mine too. I think about you all the time and all the fond memories of my youth. I remember you waking up every morning at 4:00am to drive to work, then come home after a 10 hour shift and cook an amazing meal for your family. Even though you were tired family time was important. We spent hours chatting outside in the evening summer months drinking your homemade sweet tea, staring at the sparkling stars in the Colorado skies. I’ll forever keep those memories in my heart. Thank you for teaching us to be kind, love our neighbor, have a forgiving heart and become a dreams chaser. You said there will be difficult times but those are just seasons. Love you forever.
