Janessa and Dom had planned a big wedding last year in their hometown of Indianapolis but because of COVID they had to postpone their wedding.  So after visiting California the couple decided to forgo a big wedding and opted for a sunset elopement in Southern California.  Janessa reached out to me asked if we could plan their elopement in a month!  Of course, we we’re excited and happy to help out!  Janessa already had her chosen color palettes from when she was planning her wedding.  She loved the warm hue colors of olive, terra cotta, rust and peach.  One of her must-haves was a BOHO chic floral crown.  Her wedding gown was designed with touches of lace and she wore it flawlessly.  Dom, her groom was styled in a sophisticated beige suite that he wore well.

Setting up the ceremony area was an adventure.  We trekked up to the top of the  mountain because having a view overlooking the ocean was Janessa’s dream.  We setup a half shape ceremony arch with flowers and pampas grass at the bottom.  The couple was running a little late for ceremony but it was actually the best thing.  When they finally made it up the hill the sun began to set.  Their ceremony was at the perfect time.  As they stated their last vows, the sun set slowly and was the perfect backdrop.  They quickly cut their small cake and took a few photos by the ocean.

After the ceremony, the couple headed backed to their rental and was greeted with a 4 course meal prepared by their own private chef that we set up for them.   It was a weekend of adventure, romance and fun.  Congratulations to this sweet midwest couple who flew to Los Angeles, got married and went home!
